Actalent is urgently hiring for Medical Assistants for one on Long Island's top healthcare systems for their location in East Hills, NY!

This position is urgent and has the ability to interview and start immediately!

Job Description:

  • Perform measuring and recording of patient's vital signs including height, weight, blood pressure & pulse

  • Record patient information and reason for visit in EMR system (EPIC preferred but not required!)

  • Perform certain diagnostic tests such as EKG and assist physician with certain medical procedures, as needed

  • Prepare patient records prior to visit by ensuring that required lab results and documentation are entered in the medical record for practitioner review

Shift: Monday Friday NO Weekends!

  • Monday and Tuesday 8AM-4PM

  • Wednesday 9AM-5PM

  • Thursday 9AM-5PM OR 12PM-8PM (Must be open to both)

  • Friday 8AM-4PM OR 9AM-5PM (Must be open to both)

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a Medical Assistant

  • Medical Assistant Diploma from an accredited program

  • Fully vaccinated
