Your Responsibilities as a Scientist: Collect soil, water, air, and/or building material samples. Gather, analyze, and interpret data. Write technical reports and proposals. Plan field projects and lead a sampling team in the field. Periodic overnight travel up to 20% is expected. Actively develop your own career growth. What we're looking for: BA/BS in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, Engineering, Biology or other related field. Prior experience with environmental field sampling (soil and water), drilling oversight and logging of soil and bedrock samples, monitoring well installation, and aquifer testing oversight and data collection is a plus Experience with due diligence projects (Phase I and II ESAs) a plus Strong technical writing skills, the ability to successfully multi-task, safety awareness, and a good record and understanding of safe work practices. 40-hour HAZWOPER or MSHA certification preferred or ability to complete in 3 mos. Light construction experience/hands-on skills a plus. Experience as a field team leader or supervisory role is preferred. Experience with data management and report preparation. Valid driver's license, good driving history and reliable transportation are required. Strong communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
