Merakey is seeking ONSITE Behavioral Health Technicians. NO HOME VISITS. Afterschool hours. Summer hours 9:00 am - 4:00pm. We are seeking a Behavioral Health Technician -Children's Group to join our team at our program in Greensburg, PA. If you are a Paraprofessional, Registered Behavior Technician, Behavior Health Technician, or a Personal Care Aide, this is the opportunity for you!

This role provides basic group behavioral facilitation and interventions to a group of children in an established setting. This role also provides one-on-one interventions in support of this training when the behavior without this intervention would require a more restrictive treatment or educational setting.

Work Schedule After school hours until 715, Saturdays 9-12 during the summer.  "traditional hours" during the summer 9-4.

Requirements

Our ideal candidate will possess the following skills: Required: High school plus higher education coursework 1 - 3 years relevant experience Preferred: 2 years' experience in the division of behavioral health services (e.g., TSS/BHT) Completed 40-hour Registered Behavior Technician training with certification that includes the name of the responsible trainer, who is a certified BCBA or BCBA.

Completed coursework in mental health, child development, or a related field.
