Direct and manage Client Service Specialists and Service Associates in the McGriff Client Center. Monitor work flow and adjust staff duties and responsibilities, as needed, to assure quality and timely phone and non-phone service response.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
Assist Client Service Manager in meeting income and expense planning.
Develop cross-sell programs for accounts handled in McGriff Client Center.
Supervise associates within assigned team on topics to include cross-sell, retention, and production.
Monitor Internal-Controls Report for the Client Center as required by Administration and Audit Departments to assure proper procedures and eliminate Errors & Omissions (E&O) exposures.
Perform annual and semi-annual reviews for staff members and make recommendations for performance ratings, salary changes, promotions, terminations, and staffing.
Review all expiration and monthly reports and be responsible for their completion.
Arrange vacation schedules, training days, etc., to be sure adequate staffing, at all times.
Perform quality review on a monthly basis. Identify any emerging trends and seek training solutions.
Coach teammates on a monthly basis.
Handle customer service escalations to identify the issue, resolution, and if systemic, method to prevent in the future.
Effectively market insurance risks by maintaining contacts within the insurance industry so as to remain aware of trends, regulations, special programs, product lines and pricing policies.
Deliver timely, continuing advice and professional counsel to insureds through verbal and written communications.
Maintain sound, efficient procedures to coordinate work assignments, provide timely services, and meet internal operating standards, within business unit.
Perform real-time monitoring of in-bound phone lines to ensure adequate coverage and optimal customer experience. Reach out to Client Service Specialists to assist, when coverage is required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

High School graduate or equivalent
Four years of agency industry experience
Organized with strong ability to prioritize
Demonstrated ability to supervise personnel
Appropriate insurance license
Demonstrated proficiency of basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office products
Ability to travel, occasionally overnight
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of and/or ability to learn Insurance Service's automation systems
