Role Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Travel Category Manager to oversee and enhance Qorvos global travel program.

This role involves strategic sourcing, vendor management, and development of travel services and products to meet the evolving needs of our internal stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in travel management and procurement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement category strategies for various travel services including airfare, lodging, car rentals, and other related events/packages.

``` - Leadsupplier evaluation and selection process with key stakeholders. Formulates RFPs and RFQs.

  • Manage relationships with suppliers -

    • Create, negotiate, and execute contracts to improve service, achieve savings and payment term objectives, and mitigate risk.
```{=html} ``` - - Handle supplier performance issues and resolve disputes to maintain service quality. ```{=html} ``` - Analyze market trends, industry benchmarks, and customer insights to identify new product opportunities and enhancements.

  • Ensure compliance with travel industry regulations and standards.

  • Monitor and report on category performance, including savings achieved and supplier performance.

  • Stay updated with technological advancements and incorporate innovative solutions in travel offerings.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Tourism, or related field.

  • 10+ years Strategic Sourcing experience focused on travel management.

  • Exceptional negotiation skills and contract management.

  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data.

  • Proficient in MS Office and familiar with travel booking systems.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • MBA or Masters degree in a related field.

  • Experience with global travel operations and multi-cultural settings.

  • Certified Travel Manager (CTM) or similar qualification.
