About the position:

Supports our Global Sales and Service Centers sales force, customers, and potential customers regarding the resolution of technical, scientific, or engineering issues that affect the sales, installation, and utilization of Raymond products and/or services. Proposes changes in products based upon customer applications.

  • Responds to routine and semi-routine technical inquiries from the worldwide Raymond Dealer Network.
  • Follows specific procedures in completing work tasks but expected to recommend change to outdated or ineffective procedures.
  • Frequently interfaces with internal and/or external customers. Directs more difficult information requests to appropriate individuals.
  • Requires strong Mechanical, Hydraulic, Electrical, engineering/technical background to evaluate and propose Raymond product solutions to customer applications.
  • Provides support on special projects.
  • Proficient with the software in specialty. Acts as a liaison to dealer network for Sales Support and Customer Satisfaction.
  • Exercises discretion and independent judgment.
  • Works with other departments to discuss customer requests and recommended solutions.

    About you:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree is required or a related technical certificate.

  • 2-5 years of experience in a technical sales or engineering related field
  • Possesses and applies a knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures within the field for assigned products
  • Ability to perform skilled computer related activities and maintain databases, and is proficient with the software in area of specialty
  • Self-starter with a drive for increased knowledge and skills growth
  • Acts as an agent of change

It would be great if you had:

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Project management experience.

Schedule:

This is a hybrid position – Monday and Friday will be remote while Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday will be in office. Core work hours are 8am – 5pm

About the total compensation package:

Salary - $60,406 - $76,126 per year Relocation – This position may qualify for relocation support.
