About the position: The Field Service Project Specialist position supports the Factory, Field Service, Warranty, and Product Health teams internally, while potentially being customer facing. The position requires day-to-day interaction with internal and external service management teams, sales, engineering, product development, and factory staff. This person manages all aspects to resolving factory disruptions (defect) and equipment issues while fostering companywide collaboration. This role is mostly autonomous and receives limited supervision. When necessary, guidance from senior level management maybe required. Weekly status updates are required to senior management, director, and executive level personnel as well as S&SC’s teams. Cross functional coordination efforts are frequently required in support of resolving various issues. These coordination responsibilities may extend to Solution and Support Centers as well as customer teams. Proven project management and technical experience is preferred. Responsible for interpreting policy, evaluating existing methods/processes as required and developing new procedures/plans that are most cost effective. Typically works under normal office conditions where required to sit for extended periods of time. This position is an individual contributor role, with hybrid work schedule which typically allows for 50% in office attendance and 50% remote work. This position requires spending significant amounts of time working in front of computer terminal. Travel is anticipated to be 25% or less, including internally as needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Technical Skills

  • Oversees and manages all aspects to the disruption process, communications, and related systems.
  • Support of critical factory issues, including technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis as needed, while overseeing all resolution aspects within our organization / customers equipment.
  • Develops/documents/ communicates and reports on details of disruption issues and resolution efforts.
  • Using Service Now will review disruption cases/ drive resolution and closure while communicating status to senior level management, director, and vice president level individuals.

General Skills:

  • High attention to detail and progressive task management skills required
  • Ability to prioritize critical issues and adapt to every changing customer priorities.
  • Demonstrated self-motivation, persistent communication and follow up required
  • Excellent interpersonal and exceptional communication skills required for all management levels throughout S&SC’s and potentially customer teams.
  • Highly analytical and strategic critical thinking is required. Escalates issues when necessary or prompted.
  • Exchanges sensitive information and resolves issues with senior level staff inside and outside the company over a variety of equipment related issues.
  • Provides leadership guidance, support and advice to peers (typically non-exempt and lower-level exempt) in order to successfully complete tasks towards issue resolution.
  • Reviews highly complex reports and/or data and provides analyses, summaries and resulting action plans. Employs new concepts that have significant influence on problems/issues. Analyzes current practices/procedures and makes recommendations/decisions for change.
  • Maintains records with appropriate supporting material. Updates records as necessary.
  • Performs related work as assigned.

About you:

  • 2+ years of project management experience required.
  • Raymond product knowledge required. Field Service or aftermarket customer satisfaction experience preferred. Raymond organizational familiarity a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • PMP preferred.
  • High attention to detail and ability to progressively perform task management required.

About the total compensation package:

Salary - $58,700 - $94,000 per year. Compensation depends on the selected candidate’s education and experience.

Relocation – This position may qualify for relocation.
