Come join our team at Kinetic, who has been in business over 70 years. We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer. What\'s in the job: Creating, maintaining and improving manufacturing process routings. Diagnosing manufacturing and machine process problems and propose corrective action plans. Supporting our ISO 9002 activities, including accurate reporting, applying quality standards and operator training. Designing, analyzing and improving our manufacturing processes and operations. Time studies of manufacturing processes and make recommendations for improvements reducing costs. Continually improving manufacturing processes through physical observations and value stream analysis and mapping. Reviewing and proposing changes to shop floor layout and work flow. Assisting and coordinating our continuous improvement and cost reduction program initiatives throughout the organization. Implementing continuous improvement plans. Engineering projects as directed by Manufacturing Manager. Coordinating our 5S initiatives. Accurately defining processes, collecting and evaluating data, establishing facts, drawing valid conclusions, preparing reports and maintaining records. What does it take: Minimum Associates degree with manufacturing experience. Minimum of 1 year of related experience/training which would include internship(s). Personal drive and ambition for continuous improvement(s). Experience with machine shop practices, implementing process improvements and lean manufacturing. Excellent oral, written, listening, communication and organizational skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Access).
