Amazon Technician II (Day Shift), re:Cycle Reverse Logistics in Greencastle, Pennsylvania

Description

We are looking for technicians to join our expanding team. All candidates should be willing to work both independently and with a team. Work prioritization, organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to react quickly are critical to being successful.

The technician will work in all aspects of the Reverse Logistics Operation including: Receiving, Shipping, De-manufacturing, transportation of material using powered industrial trucks (PIT), and inventory control. The technician must have strong attention to detail and prioritize safety, security and accuracy in their daily tasks.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a warehousing, reverse logistics, manufacturing, or de-manufacturing environment. They receive parts, maintain inventory, and check-out parts as needed. They are responsible for loading and unloading shipments and transporting parts between different locations. This position involves frequent lifting of materials and products. Technicians will be required to keep precise records of all commodities going in and out of the facility. They will be able to use their knowledge to determine which task or SOP is needed to properly test components. They must also maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of all work spaces.

Key job responsibilities

A day in the life

Physical Requirements:

• Walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch. Work at heights and from ladders

• Regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds unassisted; and participate in group lifts for 36 pounds or more

• Must be able to lift loads of up to 49 pounds and carry them for short distances

• Continuously climb and descend stairs safely (applies to sites with stairs)

• Reach and stretch to position equipment and fixtures while maintaining balance

• Push or pull heavy objects into position

• Daily travel between sites may be required

• Ability to stand for long periods of time

re:Cycle Reverse Logistics is looking for a DCO Technician for its Reverse Logistics operation based in Greencastle, PA. Our mission is to manage and scale information technology asset disposition (ITAD) services for used electronics and electronic equipment (UEEE) through secure and environmentally sustainable practices supporting asset recovery, reuse, recycling, and other circular economy initiatives.

Basic Qualifications

  • High school or equivalent diploma

  • Are 18 years of age or older

  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of computer hardware components and operating systems

  • Experience managing work and priorities through a ticketing system and coordination with Manager

  • STEM classes or vocational course curriculum education
