ENCOMPASS EARLY EDUCATION AND CARE Summer Facilities Worker (LTE) in GREEN BAY, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Encompass is searching for a limited-term Facilities Worker to support the maintenance department during the summer. This individual would be responsible for assigned landscape work at designated centers throughout the Greater Green Bay area. They would responsible for utilizing a riding lawn mower, trimming trees, pulling weeds, removing brush, maintaining shrubbery and flowerbeds, and any other aesthetic needs as designated. This is a part-time position, hours flexible for the right candidate. Essential Functions: -lawns are mowed, trimmed and maintained to uphold professional appearance -shrubs, trees, and other paintings are maintained -parking lots, sidewalks and entrance ways are kept in safe condition -Necessary maintenance and repair of equipment is brought to the attention of the Facilities Manager -Assistance provided with maintaining appropriate wood/rubber chip depths, sand levels, etc -Exhibit agency values in daily work and demonstrate commitment to the agency mission -Perform other related duties as requested Use hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, saws, hedge or brush trimmers, or axes. Gather and remove litter. Operate vehicles or powered equipment, such as mowers, tractors, twin-axle vehicles, snow blowers, chainsaws, electric clippers, sod cutters, or pruning saws. Water lawns, trees, or plants, using portable sprinkler systems, hoses, or watering cans. Prune or trim trees, shrubs, or hedges, using shears, pruners, or chain saws. Care for established lawns by mulching, aerating, weeding, grubbing, removing thatch, or trimming or edging around flower beds, walks, or walls. Follow planned landscaping designs to determine where to lay sod, sow grass, or plant flowers or foliage. Trim or pick flowers and clean flower beds. Plant seeds, bulbs, foliage, flowering plants, grass, ground covers, trees, or shrubs, and apply mulch for protection, using gardening tools. Mow or edge lawns, using power mowers or edgers. Rake, mulch, and compost leaves. Provide proper upkeep of sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, fountains, planters, burial sites, or other grounds features. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Physical Requirements: The demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
