JOB REQUIREMENTS: Work directly with students who may have intellectual, social, physical or behavioral needs. Adapt and modify general education lessons and teach various subjects to students with disabilities. Build positive relationships with students and their families. Helps foster a love of learning for students and appropriately guides the learner to lead their learning. Plans and implements specially designed instruction for students and monitors progress. Collaborates with colleagues, paraprofessionals, and administration to best meet the needs of students. This position is located at Bay Port High for Grade 9-12. Start date is August 19, 2024. The Howard-Suamico School District offers highly desirable benefits as part of our total compensation package.
