JOB REQUIREMENTS: POSITION SUMMARY Responsible for researching, developing, analyzing, and evaluating safety needs respective to safe and healthy workplace practices while maintaining alignment with established Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Oneida Tribal Safety rules and regulations. Develop, implement (must provide training), coordinate, and enforce a formal written Safety/Training Program for all Department of Public Works (DPW) operations. General activity must be coordinated with all appropriate internal entities as well as internal policies and external agents. Continuation of this position is contingent upon funding allocations. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT: 1. Frequently walk, sit, and stand. 2. Occasionally crawl, climb heights, reach above shoulder level, crouch, kneel, balance, push/pull, carry, and lift and/or move up to twenty-five (25) pounds. 3. Work is generally performed in an office setting with a moderate noise level. 4.
