SUMMARY/PRIMARY PURPOSE: The Recreation Attendant will be responsible for overseeing members and guests as they participate in fitness and sports programs and activities in the fitness center and gymnasium. The Recreation Attendant will be primarily responsible for ensuring the safety, cleanliness, and dedicated customer service of the fitness and sports areas. Current openings are for our evening and weekend shifts from 4PM- Close and 6AM-12PM/12PM-6PM Saturdays. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: This job description should not be interpreted as all inclusive. Proactively ensure a safe recreation environment for all Kroc Center staff, volunteers, members and participants, enforce all safety and other rules and regulations, and utilize systems to safeguard facilities, supplies, and equipment. Project a friendly, customer-service oriented attitude, serving as an ambassador for the customer-focused initiatives of the Kroc and actively interacting with members and guests. Answer basic fitness, sports, and facility-related questions and aid members and guests as necessary.
