Position Overview: The Material Handler position is primarily responsible for the effective and efficient building, staging, and loading of products. Additional duties include but are not limited to: General housekeeping, properly stocking and rotating product throughout warehouse locations, organization and staging of shells and pallets, as well as any other duties assigned by the Loading Supervisor. Requirements: 1.High-School diploma. 2.Minimum two years of experience in: Warehousing, Distribution, or Merchandising within a high volume distribution environment. 3.Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to read, write, and comprehend the English language. 4.Strong organizational, time management and decision making skills with the ability to work within a highly distracting environment. 5.Must have the ability to operate powered industrial equipment including a fork-truck in a safe manner and maintain annual fork-truck certification. 6.Ability to continually lift 60 pounds from floor to waist height and occasionally lift 75 pounds from floor to shoulder height. 7.Prolonged sitting, standing, twisting, and/or bending. 8.The repetitive motion of one\'s neck, wrist, fingers, and/or arms. 9.Basic math skills. 10.Must possess intermediate personal computer skills. 11.Support various operational departments and personnel while working with management to achieve company goals. 12.May be required to work weekends and holidays as needed.
