JOB REQUIREMENTS: DIRECT HIRE Do you have experience creating software for motion control and HMI? Can you proactively propose solutions for process improvement? Our customer is hiring an Electrical Engineer to analyze and design products and solutions for mechanical devices, using statics, strengths of materials, machine component design, and computer-aided systems. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Lead testing and validation of new products or code changes to ensure product integrity. Create and execute validation plans to ensure designs meet specifications. Collaborate with electrical engineering on design requirements. Support creating layouts, assemblies, details and schematics via AutoCAD. Define, measure, analyze, improve, and control designs (DMAIC). Provide technical support for sales, service, manufacturing, and R&D. Make recommendations on methods, materials and layouts for process improvement. Document design guides for distribution within Engineering. Process Engineering Change Orders (ECO's). Participate in cost reductions projects. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering plus 3 years' experience. PLC Motion control programming experience required (Bosch Rexroth or B&R preferred) Demonstrated project completion ownership and In-field start-up experience preferred. OEM manufacturing/automation experience. DFSS knowledge and experience.
