Job description

Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Confirm vise is true to machine

  • Review set up sheet and pulled tools

  • Provide feedback after tooling is set of any concerns to team

  • Run Single control and small vertical machines

  • Use appropriate machining tools: go/no go gauges and calipers for inspections compare to blue print

  • Set up, operate, and tend to preventative maintenance for CNC equipment

  • Interpret and work from complex drawings and blue-prints

  • Identify non-conformances during inspection of component parts and properly document such non-conformances

  • Notify supervisor when work received does not meet the specifications required by previous operators

  • Responsible to record an accurate log of job times and specifications for audit reports

  • Maintain clean equipment/tools and work area

  • Follow established safety procedures

    Education:

  • High School/GED - required

  • 1 year machining certification - preferred

    Experience:

  • 1 – 3 years of machining experience

  • 1+ years of Haas Control - preferred
