ALLO Communications OSP Survey Foreman in Greeley, Colorado

This position of Outside Plant (OSP) Survey Foreman is an advanced position responsible for precise surveying and tagging of utility poles and documenting current pole attachments, along with locating of ALLO's proposed outside plant facilities and communicating as-built information to the design and construction departments.

This is a full-time traveling position and successful candidates will work a 21/9 rotation away from their home

RESPONSIBILITIES: Complete pole surveys using IKE GPS photographic data acquisition system and 3-GIS Mobile application Perform pole loading tasks utilizing various software Engage with homeowners to gain property access for accurate data capture Ensure quality and compliance to ALLO's procedures and specifications Route daily work to ensure high production volume Draw polygons and process redline points using GIS software Upload poles to IKE servers Ability to operate Android-based systems Safely traverse long distances on foot daily across difficult terrain and in diverse weather conditions Train junior survey techs on various job functions Ability to effectively train, delegate and communicate the needs of the team Communicates regularly with local OSP teams Assigns jobs, performs audits and oversees day-to-day team tasks Ensure crew is collecting accurate data before submitting for analysis Coaching surveyors and initiating surveyor development conversations Setting and communicating performance expectations Other duties as assigned by leadership

Colorado residents: Typical pay range for this role is $24.00 - $29.00 per hour depending on experience.

EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent

EXPERIENCE: Knowledge of OSP construction and interpreting telecommunications construction/contractor blueprints and as-builts is desirable Knowledge of aerial construction conventions is desirable Experience with design software is desirable Has shown ability to consistently exceed productivity and quality expectations In-depth knowledge of survey processes to assist with the training of junior surveyors Ability to perform and oversee all surveying duties in a market Stay in tune with all changes affecting any records, reports, and related information affecting this position
