JBS USA OPERATIONAL TECHNICAL & TALENT DEVELOPMENT MANAGER in Greeley, Colorado

GENERAL SUMMARY :

This position will supervise training at all levels and will work with employment, labor relations, affirmative action and other HR activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

Training:

  • Oversees onboarding and orientation for management

  • Training for all supervisors

  • Training for all managers

  • Supervisor development program

Talent Programs:

  • These include welcoming them to the team, onboarding, offboarding, support, rotations, placement, presentations, discipline/feedback

  • Mexico Trainee (3 months)

  • Management Trainee (1 year)

  • Interns (10 months)

  • SDP (12 weeks)

  • Brazil Trainees (13 weeks)

Salaried Employees

  • Everything related to management of Salaried employees

  • Succession Planning

  • Supervisor Open Positions (understand what positions we have open and utilize the SDP program to help backfill)

  • Performance Management

  • 360 Process (employee evaluations on company values)

  • 9 Box Process (a tool to talent map team members and discuss strengths and opportunities. This is done for All salaried employees only)

  • Development Plans (Performance Improvement Plans and Action Plans)

  • 30/60/90 day follow up

  • Follow up with all new or promoted salaried employes at 30/60/90-day mark from promotion/hire

EDUCATION: Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field; however, additional related work experience will be considered in lieu of the education requirement.

EXPERIENCE : Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of related experience.

  • Must be able to work additional hours/weekends as needed.

  • Bilingual preferred.

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

  • Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;

  • Paid Time off: sick leave, vacation and 6 company observed holidays;

  • 401(k): eligible after the 1st day of employment including company match which begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule

  • Base salary range of $54,220 - $73,196

  • This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan; the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;
