Job Summary The ALLO Instructional Designer is a member of the ALLO Learning & Development Solutions Team, a crew of curious professionals excited about developing and delivering learner-focused solutions for ALLO employees. Instructional Designers employ learning science principles, instructional design best practices, and innovative delivery methods/modes to plan, design, develop and implement high-impact trainings in accordance with "flow-of-work" business training models. ALLO Instructional Designers utilize exceptional, collaborative communication skills as they work closely with management and subject matter experts (SMEs) to actualize ideas into learning reality. We focus on providing creative solutions to serve ALLO's needs and do what it takes to get the job done!

RESPONSIBILITIES: Create exceptional learning experiences and environments Work with key stakeholders and L&DS team to define scope of learning experiences, clarify learning objectives, and identify SMEs, timeline and projected outcomes Collaborate creatively with SMEs to translate technical content into learner-appropriate training assets via probing interviews, job shadowing, and field observations Plan, design, develop & implement high-impact training and supporting materials, achieving learning objectives and reaching toward "flow-of-work" ideals when appropriate Implement tools to track the results of learning experiences (i.e. assessments, quizzes, rubrics, evaluation strategies, etc.). Make recommendations based on these measurements to improve quality of training programs Analyze, update, and refine existing learning content Maintain hassle-free service for customers, SMEs and learners Review and maintain quality standards on department training and assessment materials Demonstrate Company's values: Local, Hassle Free, Honest and Exceptional Maintain a positive open demeanor, and encourage diverse points of view Effectively manage time, projects and resources to support company and team goals Continually pursue development and knowledge in the areas of learning science, innovations in training and learning, training assessments/performance metrics, and other related topics

Colorado Residents: typical pay range for this role will be from $45,000 - $65,000 per year, base pay may vary based on experience.

EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work/military experience

EXPERIENCE: 2-5 years work experience in training and instructional design

SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES: Service excellence Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing Proficiency with MS Office, Articulate 360 products Ability to manage multiple priorities Project management; ability to show initiative, plan timelines, implement projects, and complete milestones Agile decision-making and critical thinking Creative thinking and innovative mindset Enthusiasm for learning Course facilitation Ability to drive multiple projects from start to completion with energy and passion; High level of skill in team collaboration and communication Ability to travel to job sites and off-site training locations for observation; up to 20% required
