Purpose/General Summary: Our 12-month program is designed to give you an immersive leadership experience at one of our 60+ domestic locations. This program includes hands-on rotations throughout all of the location’s business sectors, and is designed to give you real-world leadership experience and a thorough understanding of how each sector functions to support the overall production strategy of the location. Responsibilities:

  • Rotations: You will spend time learning and working in every business sector of your location. These rotations are designed to give you hands-on knowledge of what positions, equipment, and materials are involved in each specific production process.

  • Will provide support to the operations team

  • May be either in harvest floor operations or fabrication floor operations.

  • Ensure effective and efficient operations with a culture of continuous improvement. Maintain the production practices that support the food safety program in the facility. Monitor product quality and production operations to meet customer expectations.

  • Create an environment where all are expected to be active members of the team – involved in the business. Recognize and celebrate successes. Challenge people to be better than they thought possible. 

  • Identify problems or bottlenecks in production processes and resolve issues; ensure production resources (including materials, equipment, and human resources) are available as needed to maintain product schedules; support continuous improvement goals in safety, quality, cost, and customer service.

  • Implement a solution to fix the problem or bottleneck identified

  • Create relationships with hourly team members

  • Shadow production supervisors and learn their day to day operations

  • Anticipate and determine causes of delays in shift operations and take appropriate actions to meet production schedules.

  • Complete a challenging project that aligns with key performance indicators (KPI’s) and impacts our bottom line.

  • Participate in three group-based Leadership Development Training sessions at our corporate U.S. Headquarters in Greeley, CO.

  • Final Placement: the last 4 months of the program will provide hands-on training in an area of interest with the intention of final placement into a leadership role.

What You Bring (Qualifications):

  • Bachelor's Degree required

  • Alignment with JBS core values and culture

  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

  • Willingness to work different shifts and occasional weekends

  • Flexibility to relocate

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

  • Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;

  • Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;

  • 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule

  • Base salary range of $60,000-65,000

  • Relocation available if applicable
