Pathways to Community Family Services Respite Weekend Lead 1 in Greater Minneapolis - Saint Paul Area, Minnesota

Schedule/Availability:

Saturday 10:00 am - Sunday 11:00 am

( 25 hours per week)

Compensation: $18.50 per hour

*This position does require you to work with individuals who need help with personal cares, have behaviors, and last-minute schedule changes. 

In this role you will be making a difference by:

Our employees serve individuals with a combination of high or low behaviors, high or low medical needs, and high or low functioning individuals in a variety of ways, which may include: 

  • Providing oversight to the respite program on the weekends, leading staff and providing direction.

  • Supporting individuals with daily needs, goals, and activities

  • Working within several different programs (1:1 In-Home and Respite)

  • Assisting with personal cares as needed

  • Administering medications 

  • Providing constant supervision

  • Transporting individuals to community events

    To be considered for this position with us you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old

  • Possess a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and have daily access to a reliable vehicle 

  • Hold an acceptable driving record 

  • Possess strong English communication skills 

  • Participate in water activities (pool, waterslides, hot tub, etc.) 

  • Be able to pass a Department of Human Services background check 

  • Professional or personal experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred
