Town Pump is looking for a motivated and outgoingStore Deli Managerto join our team. Town Pump is a growing company, with ever increasing opportunities for career growth.

As a Store Deli Manager, you will:

-assist the store manager in supervisory decisions that are consistent with Town Pump standards, policies, and procedures. Assist in planning, leadership, organization, and follow-up with controllable expenses, sales expenses, sales increases, food costs, and shortage controls.

-set an exemplary example for co-workers in terms of professionalism, attitude, and teamwork in the areas of customer service and Convenience Store Operations.

-conduct new employee orientation and training. Promote continued development of all employees and objectively document performance and conduct evaluations.

-conduct daily walk-throughs; effectively prioritize, organize, delegate, and follow-up on tasks to be accomplished.

-maintain accurate inventories, order and maintain deli merchandise, and achieve favorable deli metrics.

-conduct maintenance in the deli area, to include basic preventative maintenance and repairs of deli equipment. Follow all sanitation procedures, maintain the highest quality standards in food preparation. Prepare deli items and cook heated items as required. Promote kitchen and store safety.

-check-in deli vendors, cross-check orders, check items by line number. Put away order once received, watch for miss-picks, wrong pack sizes, and broken/open merchandise. Maintain PLU’s, and print list for tills.

-keep product rotated, and fresh, and check expiration dates. Remove and discard unauthorized products.

-be required to complete and pass ServeSafe certification (may be waived by Deli Operations Manager), and have a valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.
