EAGLES MANOR Cook - Full -Time in GREAT FALLS, Montana

Golden Eagle Plaza is hiring a cook to join our kitchen team. The Golden Eagle Plaza provides both retirement and assisted living. At the Plaza we are "Caring for others with Compassion!"

We are seeking an individual who is outgoing, friendly, social, self-motivated, dependable and enjoys working with Senior Citizens. Our desired candidate should be able to stand for long periods of time, have the ability to lift at least 35 lbs, the ability to prepare meals by following a daily menu, serve food, clean up, follow written and verbal instructions, have knowledge of operating and cleaning kitchen equipment, and follow regulations on food temping and kitchen safety. 

Other job duties include, but are not limited to, assisting and preparing food items and serving food to residents within the scheduled time frame, assuring that meals are prepped and prepared on time, helping with dishes, serving meals and other assigned tasks as a team, preparing for special events or activities as assigned, cleaning and maintaining food service areas, assisting the Dietary Supervisor in maintaining inventory control, supervising dietary aides in the absence of the Dietary Supervisor, and assuring that employee and resident guest meals are accounted for on a daily basis. 

Applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check to be considered for the position. Wages are discussed at interview and depend on experience. Benefits include holiday pay and accrued vacation and sick leave after completion of a six month probationary period.
