Electrical Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in industrial settings. 

  • Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic test to identify electrical issues

  • Read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical diagrams

  • Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure efficient operation of electrical systems. 

  • Follow safety protocols and adhere to electrical codes and regulations.

  • Communicate and work well in a team setting. 

     

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Technician or similar role. 

  • Strong mechanical knowledge. 

  • Knowledge of industrial electrician practices and procedures. 

  • Knowledge of start / stop and various sensor wiring. 

  • Experience with PLC / Ladder logic is preferred but not required. 

  • Ability to work with high voltage systems safely. 

  • Excellent problem-solving skills to detect and resolve electrical issues.

Schedule:

  • 6:00 am-3:30 pm

  • Monday to Friday

  • Occasional work outside of the standard schedule may be required. 

Education:

  • High School or equivalent ( preferred) 

  • Completion of apprentice program or electrical certifications highly preferred, but not required. 

Experience: 

  • Three years of verifiable experience in a similar role and or work environment highly preferred, but not required.
