Actalent Project Manager in Granville, Ohio

Position Summary:

  • Overall Delivery of Capital Plan : The group is responsible for ensuring that the company’s capital project plan is executed successfully each year. This involves managing all aspects of capital projects, from initial planning to final implementation.

  • Project Completion : They oversee the entire lifecycle of capital projects, from assessing project feasibility to designing and constructing buildings and equipment. Their goal is to ensure that everything is ready for production use.

  • Process and Equipment Design : The team defines and refines the process and equipment design for production lines across manufacturing facilities worldwide. They focus on making incremental improvements or significant changes to enhance efficiency.

  • Global Operations Support : The group provides support to the company’s global operations. They gather best practices and share them across the organization to improve overall performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Electrical Power Systems : Developing specifications for electrical power systems.

  • Cost Estimation : Estimating engineering and capital delivery costs.

  • Supervision : Overseeing electrical designers and design firms.

  • Control Systems : Understanding electrical control systems related to drive systems.

  • Collaboration : Working with mechanical counterparts on power systems.

  • Equipment Start-Up : Experience in equipment checkout, debugging, and commissioning.

  • Industrial Hardware : Familiarity with industrial electrical hardware.

  • Interface with Electrical Engineering : Basic understanding of electrical engineering schemes for effective collaboration with colleagues.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar Engineering specialization

  • 7-10+ yrs of relevant experience in Project Management with emphasis of experience leading Capital Projects

  • Experience in high voltage & low voltage (13KV, 10KV, 6KV, 400 volt, 220 volt, 110 volt)
