• BS/BA degree in business or related field (preferred) and/or equivalent amount of relevant experience
• 3+ years of supervision experience within customer service, logistics, inside sales, production planning or similar field preferred

• Knowledge of business operating systems (Epicor ERP preferred)
• Proficient in MS Windows (Outlook, Excel, and Word required)

Job Description:
Yanmar Compact Equipment North America designs, manufactures and supports a complete range of compact equipment including compact track loaders, mini excavators, wheel loaders and construction equipment for use in such markets as construction, landscaping, utility, land management and agriculture. The products are sold primarily through a third party, independent dealer network.

OVERVIEW:
Scheduling Supervisor is responsible for the Master Production Schedule and detailed production schedules to ensure customer orders meet promised deliver dates. Inclusive of planning all manufacturing activities including management of work orders and ERP related tasks to reflect changes in demand. Additionally, this role is responsible for the shipping logistics, facilitating the Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) and reporting daily operations status and requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develops, monitors, and maintains the Master Production Schedule and detailed production schedules.
• Responsible for planning and scheduling all manufacturing activities on the shop floor.
• Participate in Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) process.
• Responsible for shipping documentation, customs, and container shipments; ensuring the Company is in compliance with laws and regulations regarding transportation, including customs and hazardous materials.
• Serves as a liaison between operations and all other departments regarding scheduling, inventory, ship dates, product availability and lead-times; inclusive of Sales, Engineering, Purchasing, Quality, etc.
• Track progress of all machines in the plant.
• Build a cohesive, high-performance team with a strong business and customer focus.
• Coordinate shipping of machines with transport companies.
• Facilitate invoice calls and reporting.
• Release work orders and pick lists to the factory.
