Robert Half Technical Support Engineer: IV (Lead) in Grand Rapids, Michigan

Description We are offering a contract opportunity for a Technical Product Owner in the software development industry, located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This role involves working closely with both software developers and architects, providing guidance, managing code deployment, and leading development team members.

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of applications and provide consultative guidance to the solution development team.

• Work closely with software developers and architects to define and plan work for development teams.

• Manage the process of building out the backlog, approving cards, and moving them to completion.

• Handle code deployment and lead the development team members.

• Collaborate with development and architecture teams to provide guidance on priorities.

• Lead backlog refinement sessions and demo completed work by the development team to a larger audience.

• Utilize tools such as Azure DevOps or similar like JIRA to create work items for the development team.

• Understand both cloud-based and on-prem applications.

• Have a strong understanding of Azure function apps/logic apps/durable functions.

• Exhibit strong skills in planning, technical support, cloud technologies, agile methodologies, and software development.

• Be proficient in Microsoft Azure, JIRA, .NET, Apache Kafka, and Azure DevOps.

• Be experienced in collaborating, deployments, R Code, backlog grooming, and providing guidance. Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in software development and cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure and Apache Kafka.

• Proficient in .NET framework, with a strong understanding of its architecture and implementation.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA, including backlog grooming and refinement.

• Proven experience with planning and collaborating with development teams.

• Ability to provide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders.

• Experience with software deployments, including planning and executing rollout strategies.

• Proficient in R Code, with the ability to develop, debug, and optimize code.

• Experience with Azure DevOps for continuous integration and deployment.

• Proven track record in solution development, including designing, building, and maintaining software applications.
