G.A. Richards Company Press Brake Team Lead - 1st Shift in Grand Rapids, Michigan

Pay Range: $18 - $25/hr

Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401K and PTO after 90 days!

Summary: Responsible for all production activity in the assigned work team and on the assigned shift and leadership of assigned production team members

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Assist in supervising assigned production team members according to company policies, procedures, and practices. Interprets and administers company policy at the department level

Responsible for administration, production, quality, materials, equipment for department during assigned shift

Familiarity with forming; Knowledge and experience with Lean Manufacturing Principles; Ability to read B/P's and familiarity with GDT Principles; Experience with gaging, measurement and analysis of measurement techniques supporting GAR Metrology systems; Ability to manage a schedule and adapt to changes to support 100% on-time delivery

Ability to manage people and work toward productivity improvements; Provide a leadership role for GAR systems and process requirements to support ISO 9000 requirements

Ability to manage projects effectively; Ability to facilitate shift meetings when necessary.   

Requirements

Education and/or Experience: 

High School degree or (G.E.D); or equivalent combination of education and experience. 5+  years of experience in manufacturing
