What the Phlebotomist will need:

Six months Phlebotomy experience strongly preferred.

If interested in 1st shift, must be able to work as early as 4 am.

Most of our positions are four hour shifts so must be willing to work four hour shifts M-F and every third weekend.

Availability to train 1st shift M-F, full time hours for up to 8 weeks

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required

ASCP certification for Phlebotomy (must obtain certification within one year of hire) preferred.

What the Phlebotomist will do:

  • Working in a single assigned work area.

  • Provides specimen collection, registration and processing services to patients in the main hospital, outpatient lab draw stations, and mental health and skilled nursing facilities at off-site locations and clinics.

  • High volume work, 50% of duties involve computer utilization with targets to meet.

  • Provides clerical support to the Pathology Department and other duties as assigned.
