Job description

West Side Beer Distributing is seeking a *CDL-A Delivery Driver *position for our Grand Rapids branch. *This position is home daily with three day weekends. *Responsible for delivering products to local retailers. This position is Full Time, Tuesday through Friday, great benefits such as medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short term disability, 401K Matching and Profit Sharing!

Annual earning ranges from $55,000 to $65,000 per year with a $4,000 SIGNING BONUS!

POSITION SUMMARY

The CDL A Delivery Driver is responsible to fulfill job description for the route he/she is assigned to on a daily basis which would consist of: Presell Driver and Bulk Driver. Calling on retailers and responsible for: unloading and delivery of the product, accurate invoicing and collection of payment, inventory management, product quality and merchandising. Delivering products to retailers in a safe and efficient manner while representing the company in a professional manner. This individual must be customer service oriented and demonstrate excellent communication skills. Additional duties will consist of inventory accuracy, invoicing and payment collection. Responsible for adhering to company policies, procedures, DOT regulations, MLCC guidelines and supplier agreements.   • Handles product in a safe manner using proper lifting techniques and ensure minimal product damage.

``` - Obey traffic laws, and follow established traffic and transportation procedures. - Responsible for the security of the vehicle. - Product displays in retail stores and makes recommendations to retailers regarding product displays, promotional programs, and advertising. - Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, and product uses. - Conduct and submit pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections for fuel, oil, water, tires, lights, brakes and refrigeration unit, to ensure that the vehicle is in proper working condition. - Report any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles to the Fleet Manager. - Present invoices and collect payments for products delivered or picked up. - Verify truck inventory against load out sheet. - Turn in receipts and money received from deliveries. - Inform customers of delivery schedules, service, and other information pertaining to products. - Attend company meetings and route sales meetings as required. - Check inventory levels, rotation and monitor product quality according to company and supplier standards. - Maintain positive customer relations.

SKILLS & ABILITIES Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) Experience: One to two years CDL-A driving experience preferred *Computer Skills: *Previous experience using I-Phone technology

Certificates & Licenses: Valid Commercial Drivers License

Other Requirements: Must pass a physical, drug screen, background check and motor vehicle report must meet minimum D.O.T. requirements
