Job Title: Production Operator (1st/2nd Shift)

Summary:

As a Production Operator, you will play a key role in manufacturing quality products safely. This position involves assembling and/or fitting parts to create complete units or subassemblies at a bench or conveyor line. You may use simple hand tools, power tools, or special assembly tools as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate machines according to production guidelines.

  • Load and unload machines, potentially with the assistance of automation or ergonomic aids.

  • Provide relief for fellow operators during breaks or as needed.

  • Operate manual material handling equipment to restock production areas with raw materials or purchased parts.

  • Move wheeled carts, racks, or bins containing work-in-progress to adjacent production areas.

  • Inspect product quality to ensure adherence to standards.

  • Maintain cleanliness in the work area.

  • Perform other duties as assigned based on plant needs.

Required Skills:

  • Ability to frequently lift up to 45 lbs.

  • Ability to bend, reach, or twist frequently.

  • Ability to lift and transfer items weighing up to 30 lbs at waist height.

  • Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods.

  • Must pass a drug and alcohol screening (THC friendly position).

Shifts:

  • 1st shift: 5:30 am - 4:00 pm

  • 2nd shift: 4:00 pm - 2:30 am

  • Both shifts include a 30-minute unpaid lunch and two 15-minute paid breaks.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Starting from $16.00 per hour, with a 2nd shift premium

Schedule:

  • Four 10-hour shifts per week

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Experience:

  • 2 years of manufacturing experience preferred

Pay Details: $16.00 to $17.12 per hour
