IoT - Software Development Intern (Summer 2024| Remote, Michigan or Minnesota)

This role may require a hybrid schedule in one of our Michigan or Minnesota office locations.*

OST is looking to bring on an intern for the Summer of 2024 to our Connected Products (IoT) team. This team is seeking highly talented and motivated interns that will work with our consultants developing solutions for our clients while gaining valuable real-work experience.

What you'll accomplish: Help deliver highly scalable cloud-based solutions Work effectively within frameworks/architectures based on internal and external standards Focus on quality and security including automation, design reviews, and unit testing Perform analysis and fine tuning of system performance and reliability Work on multiple initiatives and recommend improvements Develop and support projects throughout all phases of the development life cycle Analyze technical issues and clearly communicate recommendations/solutions Utilize agile development methodologies

What you'll bring: Currently a junior or senior level student at an accredited computer science, engineering or related program. Pursuing a master's degree in Computer Science - bonus! Experience/exposure with some of the following: C#, JavaScript, Java, Python and Node Object Oriented and Microservices development Strong proven analytical abilities in relation to system design Full-time hours during the summer with the ability to work part-time through the school year
