Mel Trotter Ministries Director of Ministry in Grand Rapids, Michigan

The Director of Ministry (DM) works under the direction of the VP of People Operations offering collaborative support as a vision and thought leader for guest and staff ministry efforts. Within this role lie responsibilities for fostering current church and ministry partnerships and securing robust new church and ministry partnerships, as well as fostering and growing our vibrant internal Ministry Host Team. These partnerships are to support our vision of connecting guests with a local home church. The DM will create and continuously improve our guest ministry services, and will collaborate to create and provide biblical trainings, messages, and devotions for our staff. This role serves as a member of our critical incident response team by offering prayer and one-on-one support and counseling to guests and staff as needed. This role includes public speaking in the community as well as within the mission. In addition to sound theological and biblical training, a passionate, compelling, and engaging speaking presence is critical to success in this role.
