Job Summary: The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for supporting, designing and executing digital strategies for BDO. This role is responsible for web design execution and best practices, campaign support, user experience, search engine optimization (SEO), reporting and ongoing digital optimizations.

Job Duties: Participates in the strategy, development, implementation and ongoing administration of online marketing campaigns and programs Serves as an internal resource to marketing professionals, industry groups and business lines with regard to integration of online media and digital marketing programs Collaborates with national marketing leaders and IT department to develop and implement marketing strategies and programs across online media to create and maximize a seamless experience for end users Collaborates with external agencies, including but not limited to advertising and public relations agencies, in developing online programs and creating specific deliverables Defines, creates, tailors and leverages content across online platforms (web, email marketing, social media, etc.) Supports administration of content management system (CMS) to execute online strategies, and serves as a key member of CMS project team Champions the BDO brand to ensure online marketing and communications reflect the firm's messages, positioning and visual identity Web Site: Participates in all phases of web development, including planning, design, development and implementation of web site best practices Supports the design, development and content maintenance of external web site(s) including BDO.com, mycareer.bdo.com, BDO industry blogs, alumni.bdo.com, BusinessForumsInternational.com, BDOCap.com and others as defined Assists with creation of digital marketing strategies Proactively updates web site(s), including content updates, imagery and SEO enhancements Creates appropriate and impactful content for web site(s) that is in line with BDO's branding message Leverages existing and future CMS capabilities Considers needs of different end users (clients, prospects, referrals, media, prospective employees, etc.) Supports further integration of web sites for event and subscription management with customer relationship management (CRM),email marketing platforms and future marketing automation programs as defined Employs search engine optimization (SEO) best practices in content and web design Supports web analytics and SEO reporting Other duties as required

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Education: Bachelor's degree, required Major in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, Business Administration, preferred Experience: Two (2) or more years of marketing or communications experience, required Experience with Web 2.0 and social media platforms including, but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn and Instagram, required Experience working within a professional services environment (i.e., accounting, financial consulting, business advisory services and/or banking industries), preferred Experience with all phases of web site planning, design and development including best practices for web site design and programming, preferred Software: Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, required Experience with CMS software and solutions (i.e. Kentico), Google Analytics, ExactTarget Email Marketing (or other ESP), Microsoft Dynamics CRM, preferred Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, HTML, preferred Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Intermediate knowledge of production processes, internet and web-based materials Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with experience writing for online media Excellent project management and organizational skills Ability to work in a deadl
