Hybrid Schedule offered: Monday-Wednesday in-office, Thursday-Friday flexible/remote days.

This position is responsible for managing site-specific aspects of new store and gas station scopes of work and construction drawings. Responsibilities include managing internal and external resources responsible for developing/maintaining the site-specific construction drawings, as well as managing all change that will impact the drawings.

What You'll be Doing:

  • Provide design expertise in architectural and engineering disciplines to assist with the evaluation of new ideas.

  • Engage a team of designers and consultants to provide architectural and engineering services to accomplish department deliverables.

  • Schedule development and management in coordination with the annual prototype schedule.

  • Timely and accurate release of site-specific construction drawings.

  • Pro-active communication on upcoming decisions/recommendations that will impact project scope and/or budget.

  • Coordination of change with internal and external resources.

  • Execution of a modular “design for change” approach.

  • Simplification of design.

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives with respect to prototypes.

What You Bring with You (Qualifications):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architectural, Engineering or Construction Field.

  • 5+ years of experience in Architecture, Engineering, Construction or Design.

  • Exceptional ability to influence others and drive results.

  • Customer service focus and solid judgment skills.

  • Ability to appropriately analyze and solve complex problems.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast paced environment.

  • Strong detail orientation, organization and time management skills.

  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.

  • Good planning skills.
