YOUR DAY TO DAY AS A CONSUMER LOAN RISK ASSET SPECIALIST II
As a Consumer Loan Risk Asset Specialist II at Mercantile Bank in Grand Rapids, MI, you will play a crucial role in the collection of past-due delinquent accounts and debts reduced to judgment, ensuring adherence to industry regulations. You will employ standard collection practices such as calling, texting, and emailing borrowers, providing financial counseling, negotiating payment relief options, and undertaking repossession and foreclosure activities when necessary. Additionally, you will maintain meticulous customer files, document all collection efforts, and seek out opportunities to collect under judgments.
