Lockheed Martin Software Engineer Sr Stf /RF/ Embedded, Grand Prairie, TX in Grand Prairie, Texas

Description: Lockheed Martin is a recognized designer, developer and manufacturer of precision engagement aerospace and defense systems for the U.S. and allied militaries.

Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is looking for an experienced Lead Software Engineer to develop embedded software at our Dallas/Grand Prairie, Texas site.

As a key Software Engineer, you will work in a team with both technical and career leaders.

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

--SW implementation of RF algorithms

--SW architecture and design expert

--Provide board level support, perform hardware/software integration, create test software, and collect/process and analyze signal processing TM and RF signal data.

--The individual will be expected to follow the hardware, and participate in testing activities that will include testing the Unit under test in HWIL and field testing environments.

--Individual should be able to work independently, formulate complex solutions, communicate solutions, and manage their own tasks and time.

--Individual will experience all phases of software development, ranging from requirements analysis through code implementation and formal qualification testing.

It is possible that travel will be required to both customer and supplier sites. It is also possible that travel will be both within and outside the Continental United States (CONUS).

Telecommuting opportunities can vary depending on daily tasking.

Basic Qualifications:

--Secret clearance with investigation in last 5 years

--Radar knowledge of RF, signals & systems, modulation/demodulation, sampling, filtering Design experience is required

--SW Design/architecture experience is required

--Embedded software development experience is required

--Experience working with HW/SW and testing in HWIL is required

Desired Skills:

--Linux/Xilinx tool suite

--C++ and/or C computer language

--Knowledge of Cameo, software design, architecture is desired

--Full software development life-cycle experience is desired

--Agile development methodology

--Experience working in early technology/demonstration

--Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD tools is desired

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
