Aerotek Maintenance Technician in Grand Prairie, Texas

Manufacturing Maintenance technician, URGENT 30+/hour, Grand Prairie, TX

1st, and 2nd Shift. Pay ranges from $30-$34/hr. starting out based

on experience. Great benefits, opportunity for overtime.

Job Description

  • Responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment.

  • Prior experience working with with electrical diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer’s specifications.

  • Perform root-cause analysis for all mechanical and electrical equipment to ensure optimal functionality.

  • Troubleshoot electrical wiring, relay logic, control and safety circuits

  • Troubleshoot electronic boards, PLC's, touch screens, displays, contactors, motors

  • Ability to use and read a volt meter, amp meter, ohm meter, and other electrical testing equipment needed for the facility

  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues related to power transmissions, chain and belt drives, cams, bearings, and actuators

  • Troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic controls and components

  • Ability to perform basic HVAC troubleshooting

  • Teardown and rebuild gearboxes, clutches, actuators, and other assembles related to equipment repairs

Hard Skills

  • Mechanical & Electrical Troubleshooting

  • Rebuild gear boxes

  • Electromechanical Troubleshooting

  • Manufacturing Maintenance

  • Food & Beverage experience

Shift and Pay:

  • 1st shift 5am or 7am. 2nd shift 4pm.

  • $30 to $34/hr. based on experience.
