What Will Your Job Look Like?

The Supervisor, Fleet is responsible for ensuring all fleet operations meet company standards and are in compliance with all governmental or regulatory standards. Ensure efficient mechanical operation, appearance of each vehicle is maintained and track the fleet vehicle life cycle to ensure proper management of inventory. The Supervisor, Fleet will perform duties in a timely manner and advise Leadership of any potential issues that could affect the overall accountability of the fleet.

This position is located in Grand Junction, CO and is contingent upon contract award.

What Youll Do:

Monitor comments and complaints of passengers regarding service, especially feedback regarding the safety of passengers Ensure all daily routes are supplied with drivers and oversee on time performance measures of drivers, monitor driving and safety practices of drivers daily Conducting ride checks (on-board) to ensure operator adherence to procedures (e.g., fare collection, ADA compliance, and passenger relations). Provide oversight of fleet maintenance program Ability to fill in during unexpected circumstance to drive fixed route or paratransit Respond and coordinate data and photo collection at accident and incident scenes Investigate and assist with accident determination Assist drivers with questions, customer assistance and overall on the road support Provide management with reports to assist with the evaluation of route and schedule effectiveness to meet the needs of the customer and client Perform a minimum of two random vehicle inspections on all vehicles owned by the client Collect all daily mileage from the contractors and enter into Cetaris for Preventative Maintenance tracking Work with contractors to ensure all Preventative Maintenance is on time and kept up to standards Enter all Preventative Maintenance data into Cetaris to keep system up to date Assist contractors with maintenance issues and vendor issues as necessary Provide management with Preventative Maintenance on time performance reports Maintain vehicle Preventative Maintenance files on site at main office for review by the client Perform additional duties as assigned or required

What You'll need:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent Must possess a valid CDL 1+ years of previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role (2+ years preferred) Previous management experience in fleet administration preferred Must be able to pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug/alcohol screening No suspensions, DUI, or More than 1 citation in the past 5 years Must pass criminal background check

Knowledge of DOT and FTA safety regulations preferred Thorough knowledge of accident investigation preferred Knowledge of safety and training practices and procedures Ability to communicate, teach and mentor employees Must be able to demonstrate conflict resolution skills Quick to process information and make adjustments or recommendations Skills in the use of computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel and other Microsoft applications Regular attendance is required

Salary Range:

Minimum: $23/hr Maximum: $28/hr
