  • Utilize developmentally appropriate classroom activities for children.
  • Encourage parents to participate in the program in a variety of ways that fit their skills and time. Collect in-kind related to this participation.
  • Enter GOLD observations resulting in a minimum of one anecdote per child per item each period.
  • Assist families in a variety of ways including but not limited to; connecting with resources, making referrals, sharing information about their childs day, translating documents, and interpreting.

There is a $1.00 pay differential for those with an A.A. in ECE Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED. Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education Preferred. [Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED and be willing to start classes immediately if they do not have a degree. Head Start will pay the tuition for staff to obtain an associate degree.
