Description We are seeking a Receptionist to join our team in GRAND HAVEN, Michigan. This role is situated within the Engineering industry and offers a short term contract employment opportunity. As a Receptionist, you will be responsible for supporting administrative tasks, managing customer interactions, and ensuring smooth office operations.

Responsibilities:

• Answering phone calls and managing correspondence, ensuring all customer queries are addressed in a timely manner.

• Greeting guests and directing them to the appropriate department or personnel.

• Engaging in data entry tasks and ensuring all customer records are accurate and up-to-date.

• Handling administrative tasks such as filing and copying documents.

• Utilizing various office equipment and software including MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook.

• Managing a computerized switchboard to facilitate office communication.

• Maintaining a high level of customer service and demonstrating basic office skills.

• Adapting to additional tasks assigned and ensuring they are completed efficiently.

• Operating at a high pace, with data entry rates of 8,001 - 10,000 kph.

• Handling numeric data entry tasks with accuracy and attention to detail. Requirements • Proficiency in using computer software such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and Email

• Experience with computerized switchboard operations

• Strong customer service skills and ability to interact professionally with clients

• Basic office skills including copying, filing, and organizing documents

• Ability to perform data entry tasks both alphanumeric and numeric with accuracy and speed (Alpha 8,001 - 10,000 kph)

• Familiarity with basic office equipment such as printers, scanners, and fax machines

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively

• Professional and courteous demeanor

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Prior experience in a receptionist or similar role is a plus.
