Job Opportunity: Production Technician at SED Spain in Granada, Spain

Our Technology:

SED Spain leads in Resilient Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (R-PNT) solutions, enhancing reliability, performance, and safety in critical and high-risk operations even without GPS/GNSS. We specialize in fail-safe GNSS/PNT solutions for global military and commercial applications. Our expertise includes ultra-precise synchronization devices (sub-ns) and frequency distribution using White-Rabbit PTP or other timing protocols. Additionally, we have extensive experience in Time Sensitive Networking (TSN), especially in aerospace with ESA, ensuring deterministic, lossless communications.

The Position: Production Technician

Join our Production Engineering team, focusing on assembling and testing high-quality electronic timing distribution equipment. You'll also manage logistics and warehouse maintenance.

Responsibilities:

Assemble and test electronic equipment in a lab setting.

Read electrical diagrams and technical documents for equipment assembly.

Conduct soldering and electrical connections safely and accurately.

Perform functional tests, ensuring electronic equipment quality and performance.

Keep precise records of tests and results during assembly and testing.

Handle product packaging and shipping documentation, ensuring accurate, timely order preparation.

Monitor shipping processes, including customs clearance and package tracking.

Receive and inspect packages, manage warehouse inventory and order.

Collaborate with other departments for shipment and reception coordination.

Support shipping of documentation and equipment.

What We Look For:

Experience in electronic equipment assembly and testing.

Solid electronics knowledge, and familiarity with lab tools.

Ability to interpret electrical diagrams and technical documents.

Proficiency in soldering and electronic component connection.

Linux operating system knowledge.

Experience with assembly and testing computer tools.

Experience in logistics and shipping management.

Knowledge of customs procedures and regulations.

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, independent problem-solving ability.

Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish.

Desirable Additional Knowledge:

Familiarity with IPC Class 2 quality and safety standards.

Programming and software debugging skills in electronic environments.
