Saturday 430-1030p, Sunday 830am- 430pm

Responsibilities

  • Maintain residence in a neat,cleanand orderly fashion

  • Assist individuals in their morning routines, ensuring that they are appropriately prepared for the routines of the day.

  • Provide awake coverage when required to assist individuals in evacuating during fire drills or in any emergency situation.

  • Assistpeople with medications and health care needs,monitorand communicate health care issues.

  • Physicallyassistpeople during emergency procedures or as needed for required care.

  • Participate in the development of Individual Service Plans and implement ISPobjectivesconsistently.

  • Ensure that people’s human rights, privacy and confidentiality are respected.

  • Ensure that people’s transportation needs are met.

  • Role modelappropriate behaviors,dressand social norms.

  • Maintain communication with other staff through the use of the daily log, incident reports, etc.

  • Participate in all requiredtrainings, staff meetings and supervisions.

  • Complete requiredtrainingsandmaintaincertifications.

  • Comply withall applicable policies, procedures,guidelinesand regulations.

  • Perform otherreasonably relatedduties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Oneyearexperience in developmental services/behavioral health area preferred.

  • Valid driver’s license along with an acceptable driving status.

  • Use of a reliable vehicle, which seats two passengers.

  • Additionalspecific experience may berequired.
