The VISTA will engage in volunteer recruitment and orientation for programs and events; write proposals for funding and track deadlines for reporting and submittals; plan events for programming, community outreach, and fundraising, create effective social media posts; and communicate with community partners, students, and families. Should be familiar with Google-based products, have knowledge of website content management and experience using and managing social media for organizations. Also desired are experience using Adobe InDesign & Photoshop and graphic design skills. Also desired are experience working with databases, organizing and presenting information, and event planning skills. Should have knowledge of fundraising and ideally have skills in proposal writing, prospect research, and grants management. Will also improve language access for district materials and communications though translation into multiple languages to align with goals of equity and resource distribution.
