Air Mobility Command Operations Manager in Goose Creek, South Carolina

Summary About the position: This position will be assigned to the The Dive, Naval Weapons Station, Goose Creek, SC. This position will include working nights and weekends. Responsibilities Assists the Club Manager in the economic and efficient operation of the club; monitors the operation of the club in the absence of the Manager. Works with the manager to implement higher level directives; makes recommendations for improved food and beverage service and general operations; develops promotional programs to increase participation. Assists with the development of the annual budget and financial planning to include sales, programs and capital requirements. Tracks labor, food/beverage and inventory costs in the bar making adjustments necessary to meet budget goals. Reviews and evaluates sources used for purchase of supplies, equipment and resale merchandise; establishes new or varied sources for improved selection to better meet changing customer demands. May be required to write, coordinate, and submit Base Civil Engineer Work Requests, and track work orders to completion. Manages real property resources. Manages Aloha Point of Sale (POS) system. Manages and controls the AF membership club program. Maintains Club works. Coordinates with Security Forces to ensure alarm system procedures are current. Supervises Non appropriated Fund {NAF) employees that perform work in the operations of the Cash Accountability Section, Bar operations, and the Bingo and Bonanza Bingo operation. Accounts for the quantity and quality of work performed by assigned employees to include: hiring, promoting, motivating, disciplining, approving/disapproving leave, training, and separating employees. Manages and is responsible for monies and proper document accountability of the general change fund for the consolidated club. Receives and resolves customer complaints and requests. Progressively responsible experience which provides a general knowledge of management principles and practices. Must possess skill in dealing with the public. Must have the ability to communicate both orally and in writing. Must have experience which demonstrates the ability to provide work direction to employees. Must satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquires (NACI). Must satisfactorily complete required training within 90 days of effective date of appointment. Must satisfactorily complete food handling certificate. Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify.
