Unit Description

Sodexo is looking for the next Operations Manager 2 for a high profile Government dining account at Goodfellow Air Force Base in San Angelo, TX . Could this be you? If you interested in feeding approximately 5,000 meals a day and managing about 80 staff in two different Dining Facilities on Goodfellow AFB, then please apply.

Manages all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and directly supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Assumes (GM) responsibilities and authority in his/her absence.

Creates a positive environment, our culture is very important at this account.

Must work with the management team to achieve company and client financial targets.

Must be a self starter and have a go getter attitude.

Ensures compliance to food safety, sanitation, and overall workplace safety standards.

We are looking for candidates who will:

  • support other members of the management team;

  • have daily client interaction;

  • manage the Food Management System (FMS).

  • conduct inventory Management;

  • provide technical training and expertise, coaching and leadership to the production team while working side by side in the operation as needed;

  • be responsible for growing relationships with key client contacts; and/or

  • ensure compliance to food safety, sanitation, and overall workplace safety standards at all levels and participates in the audit process.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 2 years

Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
