Summary:

The Cook's basic function is to prepare and cook food according to established procedures, recipes, menus, meal assignment, and diets.

Responsibilities:

  1. Prepares food.

  2. Follow ServSafe sanitary policies and procedures for preparation, storage and service of food.

  3. Completes cleaning and sanitation assignments.

  4. Processes, stores, and utilizes leftover foods.

  5. Instructs and assists meal servers.

  6. Supports and promotes Wayne UNC Health Care's Guest Relations Policy.

  7. Supports Wayne UNC Health Care's Corporate Compliance efforts.
