Honeywell Senior Engineering Program Manager in Golden Valley, Minnesota

Honeywell’s ACST team is seeking a Sr. Engineering Program Manager for our Golden Valley, MN or Broomfield, CO location. This role reports to directly to the Environment and Infrastructure (E&I) General Manager. Your leadership and expertise will contribute to the overall productivity and effectiveness of R&D functions and ensuring delivery of technical milestones.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage a team of project engineers including hiring, mentoring, managing workload, and evaluating performance

  • Lead your team by assigning them to manage the cost, schedule and scope of technical projects composed of multi-disciplinary teams, including technical support from the Tech Lead and Principal Investigators

  • Coordinate personnel commitments and enable them to meet technical milestones and advancements towards manufacturing & commercialization efforts

  • Evaluate and develop processes and tools to improve team performance, standardize workflow, and efficiently deliver on customer commitments

  • Support Honeywell by working with your team to deliver creative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers

  • You will work with systems engineers and a larger R&D team to architect, design, build, and test custom subsystems for use in research and commercial environments

  • Write and deliver performance appraisals, approve expense reports, set and evaluate goals and ensure team success in meeting near-term breakthroughs

  • Provide leadership and uphold our high-performing team culture

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

The annual base salary for this position is $159000-$199000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

This position is incentive plan eligible.

US CITIZENSHIP REQUIREMENTS

Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements.

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics

  • 10+ years of Engineering or Project Management experience

  • 8+ years’ experience leading technical teams

  • S. citizenship to obtain and maintain a security clearance

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
