Liberty Diversified International Account Receivable Supervisor in Golden Valley, Minnesota

Description POSITION SUMMARY The Accounts Receivable Supervisor (AR Supervisor) is accountable for building and leading an Accounts Receivable team to service Liberty Packaging's Minnesota, Illinois, and Nebraska operations. This position oversees processes, systems, and team capabilities to drive day-to-day operations. This role ensures successful and accurate management of invoicing, maintenance of customer data, and the design and implementation of process improvements. This position leads a dedicated AR Team, ensuring a high level of accuracy is achieved along with identification of issues and developing plans for swift resolution. This position is located at our manufacturing plant in Golden Valley, MN, and reports to the Regional Controller. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Develop expert level knowledge and effectively train others in the collections function inside our enterprise resource planning system (ERP). Develop reporting to track success on key performance indictors (KPI's) to ensure team accountability on goals. Identify process improvements within the AR function such as evaluation of customer financials, establishing lines of credit along with credit holds, and efficient collection of past due customers. Provide compassionate and steadfast customer service regarding collection issues, refunds, returns, and credit processing. Drive ad-hoc analysis across channels and departments with understanding effects of decisions on daily business key initiatives. Proactively identify and resolve customer credit opportunities by working cross functionally within the organization. Drive internal review of AR processes to promote partnership between departments. Ensure compliance with accounting policies, principles, and regulatory requirements. Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and commitment to quality. Establish internal meeting cadence to review accounts and provide feedback to leaders. Other duties, as assigned. REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS Bachelor's degree in, Economics, Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration and 3+ years of accounting experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 1+ years of supervisory experience. Advanced Microsoft Excel experience (Power User, Pivot Tables, VLOOK UP, etc.). Previous experience presenting analysis/financial reports and insights. Previous experience navigating through ambiguity and managing multiple priorities. Able to problem solve by breaking down problems into critical components along with providing value-added analysis, and recommendations for a path forward. PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS Knowledge of industry specific programs Imaginera/Amtech. Previous experience using BI. Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills and strong financial systems knowledge.
