The Headlines:    

In the role of Plant Maintenance Mechanic working at the Coors Brewery in Golden, Colorado, you will be part of the Malting Maintenance Team. Our maintenance team is the lifeblood that keeps our malthouse going. You will be responsible for playing an important role in ensuring that our production facility is running smoothly so we can make as much of our great beer as possible.

This position reports to our Equipment Specialist Lead and is a 4x4 straight schedule days or nights.

The Responsibilities: * *

  • Execute work as planned through our maintenance planning and scheduling process.

  • Evaluate problems and generate options to find actionable practical solutions.

  • Provide technical support to operational and maintenance leaders as it pertains to desired projects in the plant, including capital projects.

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of preventive maintenance routines, making revisions and recommending improvements to continually improve.

  • Exercise strong reporting, documentation, communication, and time management skills to optimize our maintenance team and processes.

  • You are serious about delivering results and take pride in a proven track record of delivering these results.

  • You have at least four years of industrial maintenance and /or four years practical experience in an accredited industrial apprenticeship program.

  • You have related work experience: Industrial Journey level and on-the-job experience in a heavy industrial mechanics field.

  • Ability to effectively communicate in a one-on-one or small group situations.

  • Have the ability to read/comprehend instructions given by electronic/mechanical instruction books.

  • Must have experience in troubleshooting setting up and calibrating process equipment.

  • Must have proven experience and ability in mechanical, electrical and electronic maintenance troubleshooting techniques.

  • Strong working knowledge of mechanical/electrical principles/concepts.

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

  • You have a high school diploma or a GED

  • You are at least 21 years of age

  • You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities

  • You build relationships and collaborate to get to the desired outcome  

  • You take accountability for results – acting with integrity and honoring commitments
